Over the past 2 weekends we had 263 games, 84 teams (13 counties and 3 provinces represented) over 1250 players, over 250 coaches, and hundreds of spectators come through our gates to attend our Festivals of Football and commemorate our esteemed club members Thomas McCrink, Mickey O'Grady, Sean McGenity & Owenie Rocks. Firstly, our thanks to all the visiting clubs for your support and co-operation.  Our thanks to all the volunteers- The effort by all our volunteers from stewards ensuing safe passage & parking to and from our grounds, all the ladies involved in the hospitality & catering side who ensured all those visiting were treated to the very best service including all day access to Dromin-Tea &  Coffee dock, BBQ Team,   Fixtures Announcers, Sarah and Cara Rose our national anthem singers.  Dromintee GAC would also like to thank Arthur Kenny & Sean Hughes for the use of their fields for parking to accommodate our visitors, Dessie McCoy for the donation of fruit, McGeoughs Shop for their kind donations, Newry City Waste for supplying a Skip, Martin John McKenna for Gazebos, Edel & Sinead our Photographers, O'Neills for their kind donations.  Our thanks to all the young volunteers who helped with all the officiating, gathering of balls etc ensuring all the games flowed without disruption throughout the 2 weekends (we hope you all enjoyed your free burgers and drinks - they were hard earned!!), all the parents who supplied sandwiches and biscuits to all teams, all the coaches for all their hard work not only over past 2 weekends but all year, and lastly & most importantly the stars of both weekends,  the players! They all played with such passion & pride in the Dromintee jersey which was the most fitting tribute to those that the blitzes were created in memory of. The very best of Dromintee GAC was on show for all to see over the last 2 weekends and the mountain of positive feedback received from visiting clubs is testament to the hard work of everyone.
