*U12.5s just miss out in Saval *

Our 12.5 team travelled to Saval on Saturday to compete in the tournament held in memory of Peter Turley, a player who had many teammates and friends in the Dromintee club. 

10 teams took part from across Down and Armagh and the standard of teams and football was high. 

Dromintee played some brilliant football to win all their group games and progress to a cup semi final against Mayobridge. A fantastic performance in the semi final accounted for Mayobridge which set up a cup final against the hosts Saval. 

However they could not produce the same level of performance in the final and host club Saval were crowned winners. 

So unfortunately another competition in which this team has fallen to the hosts in the final but plenty more positives than negatives to take away from today.  

The passing, movement and workrate today was excellent across the board and the team were also picked out for a special mention during the presentations for the way they carried themselves and represented the club with distinction.
